The GIS-K1 sets rules for Internet access so that the service from any ISP (including Starlink) can be shared between many people, and to ensure that the ISP data capacity is not exceeded which may result in a service interruption. The rules include the duration of access, maximum data speed, maximum data volume, and time at which the service can be used.

The STAR-10 kit can provide an Internet service for 25 to 50 people when connected to an ISP with 100Mbp/s data speed. The GIS-K1 is an economical Internet controller with WiFi for installation indoors. The STAR-10 kit includes the AP120 outdoor wireless access point that connects to the GIS-K1 LAN port. People inside and outside the building can connect to the Internet using the STAR-10 installation kit.
