Internet Hotspot Installation Kit for up to 50 rooms

This kits provides all the equipment you will need to install a high performance Internet Hotspot for a small to medium size motel or hotel.

The gateway should be connected to the Internet with a DSL or Cable circuit of 20Mb/s capacity

The only items that have to be provided in addition to this kit are the Cat-5/6 cable that are wired through the building to connect the wireless access points to the PoE switch.

The kit (KIT-MOT-050) contains the following items:

One GIS-R2 Internet gateway and 12 volt power supply
One 3ft Ethernet cable to connect the GIS-R2 to the DSL/Cable modem
Two high power wireless access points, type Engenius EAP-3660 (see information below)

The EAP-3660 is a smoke detector looking Wireless Access Point / Universal Repeater / WDS that operates seamlessly in the 2.4 GHz frequency spectrum supporting the 802.11b (2.4GHz, 11Mbps) and Super high speed of 802.11g (2.4GHz, 108Mbps) wireless standards. It's the best way to add wireless capability to your existing wired network, or to add bandwidth to your wireless installation. EAP-3660 features high transmitted output power and high receivable sensitivity along with antenna diversity. High output power and high sensitivity can extend range and coverage to reduce the roaming between Access Points to get a more stable wireless connection. It also reduces the expense of equipment in the same environment.
